In my Florida divorce case, what is the difference between court mediation and private mediation?

Court mediation usually has a combined income restriction of the parties. If you surpass restriction, private mediation is required. Court mediation is usually limited to three hours at a time, whereas private mediation can be scheduled for as long as the parties require. Private mediation is more expensive, as the private mediator charges by the hour, but it usually results in more settlements in our experience.
